Overview

ERNiCrFe-12 is a nickel-based superalloy, composed of nickel, chromium, iron and other elements, with good high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance. It is widely used in aerospace, petrochemical, medical equipment and other fields, is an important high-temperature corrosion resistant alloy material.

In addition, the alloy has good corrosion resistance in acidic, alkaline and saline media, and is suitable for complex chemical environment. At the same time, its thermal expansion coefficient is low, has good dimensional stability, suitable for high temperature precision manufacturing.

It is suggested to weld RA 602 CA with RA 602 CA weld consumables. These are available from Rolled Alloys in spooled wire (GMAW, MIG), bare wire (GTAW, TIG), and coated electrodes (SMAW).

The nominal composition (wt %) of filler metal of Inconel 602CA is 63 Ni, 25 Cr, 9.5 Fe, and 2.1 Al. Filler metal of Inconel 602CA is used for welding UNS number N06025, welding nickel-chromium-iron to steel and to other nickel base alloys. The ASTM specifications for UNS number N06025 are B163, B166, B167, B168, B366, B516, B517, B546, and B564.
