Overview

ERNiCrFe-7A is the special wire of Inconel 690 alloy, which is extensively applied to the welding of Inconel 690 alloy components

ERNiCrFe-7A is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy argon arc welding wire with a nominal composition of 60%Ni-29%Cr-9%Fe. The characteristics of this wire include a high Cr content, which gives it excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in pure water environments under radiation conditions. In addition, it also has arc stability, beautiful forming, good flow of hot metal and other excellent welding process performance. ERNiCrFe-7A is particularly suitable for welding nickel-chromium-iron alloys, such as Inconel 690 itself, as well as for surfacing corrosion resistant, oxidizing acid resistant layers and dissimilar material welding of Inconel and Incoloy alloys.

Themetal cladding has a good overall performance, radiation, pure water environment with excellent resistanceto stress corrosion cracking. This alloy wire could be used for anti-corrosion, anti-oxidizing acid corrosionsurfacing layer on low alloy steel, welding dissimilar metals.

This Nickel Alloy wire can be used to weld dissimilar welding between nickel-chromium-iron alloys and steelsor stainless steels. The applications include surface as well as clad-side welding. nterpass temperature of 150°C should be respected.

Corrosion Resistance

ERNiCrFe-7A has very good corrosion resistance, especially in reducing acids such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid. In addition, it is resistant to oxidative acids such as nitric acid. It has high corrosion resistance in oxidizing acids containing halogen ions, and shows good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion under both oxidation and reduction conditions. As a result, ERNiCrFe-7A exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of corrosive environments.
