Pure Nickel Alloy N2/N4/N5/N6/N7/N8 strip/ wire/sheet/pipe
Overview
Pure nickel alloy is a metal material based on nickel and composed of other alloying elements.
including N2,N4,N5,N6,N7,N8,N9.
Nickel, as a heavy non-ferrous material, has good mechanical, physical and chemical properties. By adding appropriate alloying elements, the oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature strength and some physical properties of nickel can be further improved. Pure nickel alloys are widely used in many fields such as electronics, chemical industry, machinery, energy development, navigation, aviation and aerospace.
There are many kinds of pure nickel alloys, including nickel-based superalloys, nickel-based corrosion resistant alloys, nickel-based wear resistant alloys, nickel-based precision alloys and nickel-based shape memory alloys. Each of these alloys has its own characteristics and is suitable for different working environments and needs. For example, nickel-based superalloys have excellent strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures and are suitable for manufacturing high-temperature components; Nickel-based corrosion resistant alloys can resist various acid corrosion and stress corrosion, and are often used in the manufacture of corrosion-resistant parts.

Corrosion Resistance
Pure nickel has good corrosion resistance, which makes it widely used in aviation, chemical, Marine and nuclear industries, which is a major advantage of its use as a metal material. Pure nickel is particularly resistant to alkali corrosion, whether at high temperature or molten alkali is relatively stable, therefore, pure nickel has been widely used in the alkali industry. At the same time, pure nickel also shows high stability at room temperature for seawater, salt solutions and organic media (such as fatty acids, phenols, alcohols, etc.).
Pure nickel is not resistant to inorganic acids, such as acetic acid and formic acid is unstable. However, please note that the corrosion resistance of pure nickel is not limited to these conditions, it has excellent corrosion resistance in most media, and its alkali corrosion resistance is second only to silver. The high strength and plasticity of pure nickel, as well as its excellent thermal stability and thermal strength at high temperatures (especially above 800 ° C), further enhance its application value in a variety of harsh corrosive environments.
The surface of pure nickel forms an extremely dense and strong protective film under open air conditions, further improving its corrosion resistance. This allows pure nickel to generally maintain a bright metallic luster in the indoor atmosphere, even in the outdoor atmosphere, ocean and rural atmosphere, its corrosion rate is relatively low.
