Characteristic
High operating temperature: The maximum operating temperature can reach 1400℃.
Long service life: at the same higher service temperature in the atmosphere, the life of iron-chromium aluminum components can be 2-4 times that of nickel-chromium components.
High surface load: Due to the high allowable temperature and long life, the surface load of the component can also be higher, which not only makes the temperature rise fast but also saves the alloy material.
Good soothing reaction: The Al₂O₃ oxide film formed on the surface has a dense structure and good adhesion to the matrix, and is not easy to flake and cause pollution. In addition, Al₂O₃ has a high resistivity and high melting point, and these factors determine that Al₂O₃ has excellent soothing reactivity and better carburizing resistance than Cr₂O₃ formed on the surface of nickel chromium alloy.
Low gravity: the density is 7.35g/cm³, which is lighter than some other electric heating alloys.
Cheap price: Compared with nickel chromium alloy, etc., the cost is lower.
Application
Widely used in heat treatment equipment, auto parts, steel manufacturing, aluminum industry, metallurgical equipment, petrochemical equipment, glass machinery, ceramic machinery, food machinery, power engineering and other industries.
